Our goal is for your kids to have a genuine relationship with God, build a Biblical foundation for their lives, grow with friends and leaders, and have fun while they’re doing it! We want your kids to drag you back to church every week!
welcome to Family ministries!
Our hope for the youth of our generation is for them to have a thriving relationship with God and with others. We want them to connect with God, with others at youth and connect with others within the community.
RED Youth meets every Wednesday from 7pm (Dinner at 6:45) to 8:30pm. We play games, worship, hear a message, and talk about that message in our small groups.
If you would like more information about youth, email Pastor Adam at adam@theredchurch.tv
Partnering with parents
We believe the best way we can help your kids develop a strong spiritual foundation is by partnering with you. Together, we can help encourage, train, and pray for them as they grow in their faith.
Here are some practical ways you can help us make the most of your child’s time spent at church:
- Pick a consistent service time to help your kids build a relationship with their consistent Small Group leader and other kids their age.
- Use the God Time sheets given to you each week to connect with your kids
- Build relationships with others at RED Church by signing up for a small group
- Pray for your children each week as they come to church, and pray for our teams as they serve and care for your kids.
- Sign up for the parent cue app. The parent cue app cues you to have simple and meaningful, faith-moments with your kid/s that will fit seamlessly into the daily rhythm of life.

FAQ’s
What will my child learn at RED Kids?
We know a child’s spiritual development is as important as their academic, social, and emotional development and has eternal significance. The purpose of RED Kids is to assist parents in providing a strong spiritual foundation that consists of an understanding of God’s Word and Biblical principles, and how to apply them to everyday life. By the time kids’ complete elementary school, our goal is to have nurtured their faith to the point where it is strong enough that they can independently make wise choices when faced with life’s difficult situations.
Children are taught creative, age-appropriate curriculum. This means that Bible lessons are both developmentally and spiritually appropriate for your child, as well as fun. Children learn that Jesus loves them and wants to be their best friend, as well as how to live a life devoted to Christ.

How do I check in to RED Kids?
On your first visit, look for the RED Kids area. If you can’t find it, one of our pastors or volunteers will be happy to help you!
Once at RED Kids, you'll be welcomed by a RED Kids volunteer eager to meet your family and show you how RED Kids works. To check your child in, we’ll need some information at that time, including a family member's name, your child's name and birthday, your address, your phone number, and any special instructions. We'll be there every step of the way, right up to when you drop your kids off at the appropriate room, so feel free to ask questions
How does RED Kids ensure the safety of my kids?
At RED Kids, safety is one of our highest priorities. That's why we have a secure check-in system at RED Church. Upon check-in, you'll receive matching identification stickers. Your child will need to wear their name tag sticker and you will need to keep the matching tag. After the service, you'll show the RED Kids leader your matching tag in order for you to pick your child up.
Every RED Kids volunteer is screened, participates in a background check, and receives appropriate training from our staff. Additionally, our hallway is monitored by background-checked person during each service to make sure your child stays safe and secure.
In the event that we need to contact you during the service, we will share your child's identification code on the screen in the sanctuary.
What is RED Kids doing to make sure my kids stay healthy during COVID?
According to the Virginia Governor, Executive Order 79, requiring students age 5 and older to wear masks when indoors in K - 12 instructional settings, expired at midnight on June 30, 2021.
Based on this information, RED Kids ministry will follow these COVID-19 guidelines:
We recognize that making medical decisions for you and your family is highly personal, and we trust you to make your own decisions on this matter.
- In regards to masks, we encourage you to follow the CDC guidelines.
- CDC guidelines encourage people who have not been vaccinated to wear masks inside. Since there is no way to know if you have been vaccinated, we will leave this to your own conviction.
- When outside, use your own conviction and discretion.
- Kids Dream Teamers will be following these guidelines as well.
- We will continue Temperature checks and regular cleanings
